Foltex Flexfeed LP3 / 4 – three / four station flatwork feeders

The Foltex Flexfeed LP3 / 4 is a three or four station feeding machine principally designed for high-output, high-quality feeding of large-pieces.

This ergonomically designed machine with its patented lay-down system, helps to make life easy for operators, enabling  them to achieve high-feeding rates whilst still maintaining high-quality.

Buffer stations can be retracted to allow manual, vacuum assisted feeding of small-pieces too.

Sizes available

This is available in various sizes like 3000mm, 3300mm, 3500mm, 3750mm and even 4000mm.

Speed

The Foltex Flexfeed also operates at a speed of up to 50 metres per minute.

This machine is made for all types of flatwork, including:

The FlexFeed LP2 two station flatwork feeder, is a versatile feeder for both large and small flatwork and would suit small to mid-sized laundries, with a wide variety of linen types, looking to boost ironer productivity with minimal labour.

 

The machine has two feeding / buffer stations, where operators can clip-up two corners of a piece. The piece remains in the clips whilst the operator prepares the next item. A set of spreading clamps pick up the piece from the clips, spread it across the width of the machine and feed it onto the feed-bands with nice square edges helped by a combination of cutting edge servo-control and variable powered suction.

This offers three feeding modes to enhance the speed and quality of its work. These are:

  • Two people can feed via the feeding / buffer stations. One operator per station. Circa 300 pieces per station.
  • One person operation, feeding directly into the spreading clamps.
  • Small piece mode. Up to five lanes of small pieces can be manually fed with vacuum assistance for quality and speed.

This is a versatile flatwork feeding machine that suits smaller, single ironer-line laundry operations who need maximum flexibility with minimum labour.

The machine has a single-feeding station capable of spreading and feeding:

  • Duvet covers
  • Bed sheets
  • Large piece table linen

This can be used in several combinations:

  • Single operator (located centrally)
  • Twin operator (one located left on right with the feeding station visiting each in-turn)
  • Small piece mode with vacuum assistance

The in-feed conveyor has a high-powered, variable suction facility that will also aid manual feeding of items such as:

  • Round tablecloths
  • Small pieces, such as pillow-cases, napkins etc
  • Tricky items that need

This machine offers flexibility, reliability, and simplicity.

The FlexFeed SP is a vacuum assisted feeding machine to aid manual feeding of small flatwork items, such as:

  • Pillowcases
  • Tea-towels
  • Napkins
  • Table linen slips.

 

This is compatible with any industrial ironing machine and is available in 3000, 3300, 3500, 3700 and 4000mm widths with anything up to 6 feeding lanes available.

 

The FlexFeed SP300 – 400 is rigid and durable but remarkably simple and requires no maintenance.
