Olma, specialist in flatwork technology, recently introduced a range of flatwork folders consisting of single and multi lane folders, with 2 or 3 primary folds and 1, 2 or 3 cross folds.
Pulsating air-blasts force the linen between two nip-rollers with the folded pieces then being transferred between conveyor belts to the following primary-fold. The first cross fold is made by knife and the second cross fold is made by reversing-belts in combination with a knife. It is possible to by-pass this second cross-fold if required. The third cross fold is made by knife between forcing the pieces between pinch rollers.
