A small company, they have the ability to be able to adapt to the needs of our ever-changing industry by keeping things simple and yet maintaining a high-quality product at an affordable price. They produce around 80 machines per year which are sold across the world and we have a number of reference installations now in the UK and Ireland.
The range consists of the following:
Olma Obifold Super
High-speed, autograding, French-folding towel & garment folder for garments such as scrub-suits, warehouse coats, trousers etc with three or four stackers.
Olma Obifold Super U
Autograding, French folding, towel and garment folder as with the Super model but also including underwear, T-shirts etc and with three or four stackers
Olma Obifold Overall
Autograding, French folding, towel and garment folder including Boiler Suits, Overalls, Coats, Chefs Jackets etc with three or four stackers
All of the Olma Obifold models can fold bath-towels, hand-towels, bath towels and bath sheets up to 2000mm long (Option for 2400mm available) and up to and over 600gsm.
Each machine can execute up to two French-fold primary folds, by a combination of air-blast and blades, with up to two cross-folds which are made by a combination of air-blast and reversing belts.
They also all feature an easy-to-use touch screen control system which allows up to 50 self-made programmes.
WSP AUTOMATISERING - Laundry Innovation
W S P are a truly unique company within the laundry industry, dedicated to finding solutions to improve the efficiency, productivity and consequently profitability of industrial laundries.
They have a team of highly experienced engineers, designers and computer experts who design completely automated and integrated solutions to solve some of the inevitable inefficiencies that most industrial laundries suffer from. Internal logistics, labour or energy, W S P will come up with solutions that will save you money.
Integrated Control Systems.
Using the WinWash software platform, W S P can retro-fit brand-new control systems for complete continuous batch washer installations including monorail loading systems and clean-work systems.
The WinWash system allows the operator complete control over the entire system at the push of a button. The system is Windows based which makes it very easy to use, and is designed to clearly show the operator a real-time and interactive overview of every aspect of the CBW system. Loading configurations, wash processes, press times, drying times and temperatures can all be adjusted from one computer terminal along with corresponding data such as customer codes, load-weights, production rates which are continually stored and available for simple analysis. This allows the operator to be able to react to all of the day-to-day eventualities in the laundry thus enhancing overall efficiency.

Infra-Red Systems for Tumbler Dryers
This system, which can be incorporated into most transfer tumbler dryer groups can dramatically improve the drying efficiency by measuring the exact temperature of the load, thus ensuring it is discharged at exactly the right moment neither too wet or too dry.Internal Logistics
W S P design and build a complete range of internal transport solutions to help improve the productivity of laundries. Conveyors, shuttles, hoists, overhead clean / dirty bag monorail systems , dryer platforms all help to both maximise space and to ensure that the right linen gets to the right place at the right time. This is crucial to productivity.

QUALITY CONTROL EAGLE-EYE SCANNER
Having a Quality Control System is much less expensive than having no quality control at all - and with our EAGLE EYE 2000 we have a perfect solution. So, what is a Scanner System?
Fitted above a Folder, the scanner analyses articles as they pass below for holes, stains and even mis-ironed pieces, sending a 'reject' message to the Folder each time a piece 'fails'. Rejected pieces can be routed at the Folder. For example, holed pieces can be sent via the Stack and Fold to a 'Requiring Repair' receiving point and stained linen can be rejected from the Folder area for re-washing. Holed and stained linen can be directed wherever you preferCan't my staff do this?
Of course they can but being human they are fallible. You need consistency in quality control, not just for an hour at a time, or just when the production manager is looking, but every hour, every day. You can only achieve this with a machine. So, what advantages are there with having a scanner?
Peace of mind. When you know that the quality of your flatwork linen will ALWAYS be the same, day in, day out, you know that your customers will always be happy not only with your product, but more importantly, with your company. Don't give them a reason to complain and they will keep coming back for more and may even pay their bills on time. You eliminate the costs associated with the hassle: the extra work, the disruption, the disgruntled staff and, most importantly, unnecessary friction with the customer.
Don't forget too that if you can pull out the linen with small holes and repair them before they become big holes, you can actually make tangible savings on your linen replacement requirement.
Just how good is the scanner?
If you've seen scanners before then you will probably be aware of some of the existing limitations. Most scanners have trouble with recognising even quite obvious tears, holes and stains especially with coloured linen. Others can't handle different sizes of linen or linen arriving in more than one lane. Nearly all are inconsistent due to an inability to recognise changes in ambient light in the laundry and ALL are very expensive. The main features of the EAGLE EYE 2000 are:
- The system recognises holes and stains imperceptible to the human eye in a working environment. The intensity and size of holes or stains to reject can be pre-programmed, in effect, allowing you to grade the output quality of your work - after all the five-star Hotel de Luxe will require a different standard of linen than the one-star Ragamuffin Inn! Five grade-qualities can be stored at any one time.
- The system recognises changes in ambient light and automatically adjusts itself, ensuring a constant level of efficiency.
- The system recognises different coloured linen and, by using a light source, will continue to produce consistent results. It will also recognise different-sized pieces and pieces fed in multi-lanes.
- The system keeps count of all faulty articles rejected.
- A television monitor continuously provides information about the performance of the cameras, ensuring that the system is operating at the optimum.

How does it work?
In essence the system is a series of *six high-resolution cameras that take very high-speed 'photographs' of the linen as it passes below. Each 'photograph' is then analysed by a specially developed computing system, the result being communicated to the folder for rejection if necessary. (*Standard for 3000mm working width. Each system is tailored to fit your folding machine, no matter what width or model).
